Two thoughts for today:

1.  Women drivers.
I'm sorry ladies, but I have to get this off my chest.  Some, not all, women should not be allowed to drive.  If you must drive, don't drive an SUV.  I was going to the post office this afternoon and saw this SUV pulling out of a drive way.  The person driving was pulling out like she had no room whatsoever to move.  I stopped a good half mile behind her, just to be safe.  lol.  Which reminded me of the time I was a student at Uni.  I was parking my car and this big, white Yukon tried to park in front of me.  I just knew it was a woman, a short one at that, driving and sure enough, when the door opened, short, hispanic chick gets out of the car.  Oy!

2.  I saw this very provocative movie last night, called I am Dina.  Great movie.  The movie, in a nutshell, is about an adorable little girl and the death of her mother and how her mother's death impacts her life.  Great movie.  And to think I stumbled upon this movie by shear chance.  I saw it on hulu.com.  Check it out.

This is really just a self-gratifying post. I just wanted a medium to shout out how much I love my man. He is just so effing secksy , yes, secksy . Just saying he's sexy does not do him any justice whatsoever. I chuckle as I write this because that last statement was silly, but I'm giddy with love and whatever other hormones course through my veins because of this feeling that is not tangible but we know exists, love. Journey

I'm on a journey. This journey is unlike any journey. This journey is to take me to my Father. This journey is to bring me closer to my God, my Baba, my Papa...you get the idea. It took me a long time to get to the place where I'm finally ready to take this journey. It's a shame really because my family is steeped in God and for whatever reason, it passed me by. But I have to reevaluate my earlier thought about it being a shame. Is it? I'm not going to say, "better late than never" because I feel in this case it doesn't apply.
