Can we ever go home again?

Not home in the literal sense, but home as in can we ever revisit a past love? Before you shake your head and give an opinion, let me finish. Then you can shake your head and give your opinions. lol.

When I was fifteen years old, I met this wonderful man, who was nineteen at the time. We met through a friend. The first time we spoke on the phone, there was instant chemistry and we were on the phone for hours. After that, all of our phone conversations lasted hours. We spoke on the phone for one year before we actually met. We met when I was sixteen. The first time we saw each other, we didn't talk. I was waiting at the bus stop with like a million of my class mates and dude and his friend came looking for me. I saw him and froze in my spot and refused or couldn't get in the car or even say a word to him. The next time we met, we couldn't keep our hand off of each other. We said hello and then immediately kissed till my lips were sore. We didn't engage in any sexual activity, I was sixteen after all. Long story short, my mother caught wind of my being involved with a man four years older than me and made me end the relationship. I never spoke to him again.

Fast forward seventeen years later, I check my facebook page, like I do everyday, and lo and behold, who do I get a friend request from and a message saying that I'd never guess in a million years who he was. Are you kidding me? I'd never forget his name in a million and one years.

We reconnected. We essentially picked up where we left off and yes, finally had sex, made love, whatever you want to call it. We were together for a while before I ended things because of the pressures of school and life. I couldn't handle everything and had to let him go.

I mourned the end of our relationship like one who mourns the loss of a loved one. Couple weeks ago, I sent him a text and was surprised he was happy to hear from me, even telling me he still loved me. But it's just bad timing.

Oya, make una give your what's what.

hmm!!! you are still hiding some facts. I don't think pressures of school and life is the real reason why it didn't work out!! after all, we will always have pressures of life!. My advice is, lay our the 'pressures' on a table and the 'good things' on another table. If the pressure list is longer. don't even bother responding to his face book message, except of course, God tells u to!.

pls check his face book status to make sure he is still single!

i hate it when people break up with people cos of 'pressure'.in this life there will always be pressure...its how you balance things in your life that counts.

Update: not much of one. he's dating someone else and we're trying to be "friends" but that's an impossible feat. I have so much on my plate with school and my son and trying to build my relationship with God. I don't know sha, we'll see what happens in the end.
