I'm still here

I haven't stopped writing. I may not be writing here but I'm constantly composing in my head.  So many thoughts run through my mind on a daily basis.

What I most appreciate about this blog is that it's given my the gift of self-awareness.  It's allowed me to open myself up, examine who I am and see me for who I really am.

I have my moments where I'm the nicest person you'll ever meet and the worst person on the planet.  I make no apologies, I am who I am.

I've seen a lot in my life and have documented a fair share of it but the thing is there is so much more to see and so my writing can't stop.

This was a thought in my head that I had to get down.

I miss this place.  I miss my friends from this place.  This was like Wonderland, going down the rabbit hole and encountering some of the most amazing characters I'd ever had the pleasure and privilege to meet.  I love them still and I miss them deeply.

Especially the self awareness bit. And i love the wonderland and quirky characters down rabbit holes analogy! Best one I've heard! Lol. Makes me remember some very colorful conversations with you too!

putting myself in the crosshairs

I revealed to my mom yesterday that her boyfriend has touched me inappropriately by grabbing my ass and has said inappropriate things to me.  She told me that she's been wanting something, leverage I guess, to finally leave him.  She believes me, which is good, but wants to set a trap for him, to give her that extra push to leave him.  Now, I've avoided this man at all costs, even staying in my room all day, especially when he's around and planning my escape routes should he come into the same room I'm in.  My mom wants me to go about my usual routine and that if he does it again, tell him that he should stop and that I'll make her aware of it, and she'll take it from there.  When I spoke w/ my sister and told her my mom's plan, she totally agreed w/ my mom, saying it was the logical thing to do. Setting my heart free

I'm going through a divorce and ending a marriage that lasted two years. Two long, hard and hurtful years. I married a monster, an evil man.
